Cadillac’s V-Coupe Comes With Even More Horsepower Than The Original CTS Coupe
If the 2011 CTS coupe doesn’t offer you enough power at 304 HP, Cadillac has something even more powerful for you; the CTS V-Coupe with a grand total of 556 HP at 6100 rpm and 551 lb feet of torque at 3800 rpm. The engine is a robust 6.l Liter V8 LSA engine and is available in both manual and automatic transmissions. To offset all of that power, Cadillac has installed super strong Bremo brakes. The coupe is equipped with a magnetic ride control suspension and is available with Remco racing bucket seats at an additional cost of $3400. With this boosted powertrain, this car will be able to compete with other high end sports coupes such as the legendary BMW M3. The CTS V-coupe is truly a high performance car; this car travels from 0-60mph in an incredible 4.2 seconds! Plus it finishes a quarter mile in just 12.2 seconds. The acceleration is effortless and so fast; just one press of the pedal and this car just zoomes off into the distance.
The V-coupe’s super powerful engine and additional horsepower now finally matches its aggressive and bold exterior; this car is truly a beast inside and out. 19” performance wheels complete the whole look. The Magnetic Ride suspension helps to adjust shock pressure on the streets. The suspension features two modes; Sport and Tour. The Sport mode is more suitable for performance driving whereas Tour is perfect for comfortable and smooth every day driving.
The V-coupe also has a few differences from the regular CTS; the V edition has a sharper grille, different lights and a bigger hood. The interior is virtually the same to the regular CTS version. The vehicle also comes equipped with an advanced navigation system, an incredible Bose audio system and Bluetooth compatibility. This is a car that can be suited for every driver; there is a power tilt and telescoping steering wheel and the seats are easily adjustable. There is also a 40 gig hard drive in place, just perfect for music storage.
This car is equipped with the latest safety advances including an air bag system, an On Star Communications System, daytime running lamps, parking assist, remote keyless entry, an anti-theft system, four wheel ABS and four wheel disc brakes. You can drive this car with peace of mind, knowing that Cadillac engineers have incorporated all of the latest safety mechanisms.
The CTS V coupe proves that looks can only take you so far. It is this auto’s combination of good looks and a powerful engine that makes it a true winner and a real performance car that can compete with the german luxury car brands. The only drawback is that it’s a bit of a gas guzzler, it gets around 12 mpg in the city and 18 mpg on the freeway but remember that this car was built to perform.
