Roland TD 4KX2 – A High-Quality Compact Kit
Drumming can be a hassle at times when it comes to setting up and taking down your set. No matter whether you’re on tour, practicing at home, or at a local gig, or doing some form all of these things in a short time frame, the flexibility and compactness of your gear is crucial. But of course, you also don’t want the sound to suffer as that’s the most important factor. With the Roland TD 4KX2S V-Compact Series Drum Set there’s no need to worry.
This set comes with a module that is loaded with different sounds. There are in fact 125 instrumental sounds to pick from making it an ideal kit to explore all of the styles and types of music your heart desires. You can pick a latin tango beat, something hard rock, or something with a more jazzy feel. This instrument has you covered. As highlighted in a recent roland td-4kx review, this set also has 25 kits to pick from so if you’re in the mood to simply pick and choose a certain full set, no problem.
Yet another great feature of this drum set is the Coach Mode. As we all know practice makes you better and it’s better if you have as many resources as you can to improve. What the Coach Mode does is let you improve with a selection of exercises like the warmup and Tempo Check exercises. Not sure if you’ve kept up the tempo or whether you’re speeding up or not? No problem with the Tempo Check. These kinds of exercises are good for enhancing your playing and getting you to a level you want to be or simply taking you to the next step.
The Roland TD 4KX2 has mesh heads for its snare and toms to give you a natural and responsive sound and feel. The toms and cymbals are also velocity sensitive that make the response immediate and natural. These features mixed with its compactness and exceptional sound make the Roland TD4KX2 a great drum set.
